Frequently Asked Questions & Policies

``Knowledge itself is power``

- Sir Francis Bacon

How long is the treatment?

Microblading is done in two sessions. The first takes about two hours. In the first session, the brow is shaped and styled to the client’s preference, and pigment is applied.. Four to six weeks later, the client returns for the second session for a touch up.

Why is it necessary to do touchup?

Touch up is necessary because everyones skin heals differently, so retention of pigment varies. In the touch up session, the final adjustments in color and shape are made to assure the client’s satisfaction.

How long does Microblading take to heal?

It takes about 7-10 days to heal. The initial darkness of the eyebrows will lighten and continue to lighten over thirty days until the final color sets in.

Is Microblading painful?

The level of discomfort is relatively minor, certainly less painful than traditional tattooing on account of the numbing cream. Some liken it to tweezing two to three hairs at the same time. Redness and slight swelling in the area is common after the procedure.

How long does Microblading last?

Generally microblading can last up to 12/18 months depending on skin type and general skin care of the client. To maintain the brows an annual touch up is recommended.

Are there any pre-procedure instructions?

Prior to the start of your session, avoid alcohol, aspirin or ibuprofen for 48 hours. Sometimes these have the effect of thinning your blood.

If you use accutane, or are allergic to lidocaine, tetracaine, or epinephrine, if you are pregnant or nursing or on blood thinning medications, if you have a skin disease or inflammation then microblading is not recommended.

If you plan to get BOTOX, or a chemical peel please allow 3 weeks in between the microblading treatment.

How do I know I will like the results?

It is very important to carefully choose your practitioner. Compare the work of various artists before choosing. Discuss your expectations and desired outcome, including the shape, style, and color you wish with the artist. Realize that faces are never perfectly symmetrical. Adjustments may be made during touch up, such as pigment discoloration and color correction. Remember that Microbladed brows will eventually fade away if touch ups are not done.

How can I get optimal results?

Care Instructions are provided to achieve optimal results, but there is NO guarantee made as we have no control what happens during the healing process.

Are there any deposits for the treatment?

A deposit is required in order to book and confirm your appointment. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable. The deposit is to ensure you are serious about booking your appointment and it will be deducted from your overall cost. Cancellations will automatically result in a forfeit of your deposit.

When is the latest I can reschedule my appointment?

A minimum of 48 hour notice is required to reschedule your appointment without penalty. Less than 48 hours notice will result in the forfeit of your deposit and a new deposit will be required to reschedule your appointment. Failure to show up to your appointment without notice will results in a charge of the full cost of the service to the card on file – this includes all bundled touch-ups.

What do I do if I'm late for the appointment?

Please contact us if you are going to be late for your appointment. Being more than 25 minutes late may result in a forfeit of your deposit and the cancellation of your appointment. A new deposit will be required for rebooking a new appointment. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

What should I do if I had a previous treatment by another artist?

If you have had your eyebrows previously micro-bladed or tattooed by another artist, a clear photo must be sent in and approved before booking an appointment. We must ensure we have a workable canvas and in some cases the previous work may be too dark to achieve optimal results. Failure to provide a photo prior to booking may result in a forfeit of your deposit.

When can I book touch-up appointment?

Touch ups must be booked no sooner than 4 weeks following your appointment. You must allow your skin to heal before any additional work can be done. We withhold the right to not work on clients who have yet to properly heal. Failure to follow this time line and premature booking may result in a forfeit of your deposit.

Can I receive a refund?

All transactions are final and no refunds will be issued.
